A New Program to Support Your ArchivesAs a loyal friend and frequent visitor to the Science of Mind Archives website, you have undoubtedly experienced the peace, joy, and healing power that comes from practicing Science of Mind principles. And you would probably agree that this is a legacy worth preserving for future generations of spiritual seekers.
Here, at the Science of Mind Archives and Library, we are dedicated to this very task beginning with the Science of Mind magazine and Dr. Ernest Holmes’ published and unpublished writings. At this moment, you and the wider world can read or download monthly Science of Mind magazine issues from 1950 through 2006 and new issues are being scanned and updated to the Archives website on a continuing basis. Eventually, every issue from 1927 onward will be easily available, as will all the issues of our sister publication, Creative Thought. Our website also contains over 200 eBooks of Dr. Ernest Holmes.
What a joy it is to walk through the Science of Mind Archives and Library and feel our rich history. How exciting to see handwritten pages by Dr. Ernest Holmes and listen to his voice on recorded broadcasts as he brings forth the ideas upon which Religious Science rests. It is an honor for The Science of Mind Archives and Library to lease the lower east wing of the Centers for Spiritual Living (CSL) headquarters building. This truly is the perfect location for our collective history to be preserved. While the Archives are located at CSL headquarters, it is entirely financially independent and relies on the donations of many loyal friends.
Friends like you are needed now and in the future to help save the original and early works upon which our philosophy rest. As the manuscripts crumble with age and the reel-to-reel tape recordings degrade, the heart of our teaching is slipping away. It is our mission to preserve our original documents for you and future generations to enjoy.
This is why the Archives board has created Friends of Ernest. Once a year, we ask you to help us preserve the many books, papers, articles, magazines, recordings, and memorabilia. There is much work to be done as more materials are being bequeathed. Thanks to the donations of many loyal friends, we currently have over 200 eBooks available for download on our website.
