This is the transcript of Dr. Holmes talk at the Beverly Theater on October 17, 1954.
Note that the audio files of this talk were used as different tracks on the audio CD issued in the early 2000s under the name “Live Again Volume 4”. There, the audio of the opening treatment or meditation is Track 3 named “Prayer is the Key to Prosperity” while the complete talk is Track 5 labeled as “What Positive Thinking Really Means”
Quote: “If our body is tied into a Divine pattern and I am sure it is, then it’s interesting to know that there is a relationship between my mind and body, that’s psychosomatic medicine. But if my mind is tied into a spirit which I really am, then it would be even more interesting to know what is the relationship between my mind and my spirit because if I establish a right relationship between my mind and my spirit I shall automatically establish a right relationship between my mind and my body. If the relationship with my mind and my spirit is right the psychosomatic stuff will automatically reflect that image. This is the pattern shown me on the mount.”
