This is the transcript of Dr. Holmes talk at the Beverly Theater on March 27, 1955.
Although the transcript was labeled as a “welcome to new members”, the transcript contains little content relative to that “welcome” and appears to cover another subject. Also, given the brevity of the transcript, it may be only a partial capture of the talk given that day.
However, here is a nice quote from the document: “We do not believe in hell, limbo, purgatory, etc. because it is nonsense, it comes out of the dark ages of the soul, the un-enlightenment of the mind, the fear and the stupidity of the heart. We don’t argue about it. There is nothing to make hell out of but heaven, there is nothing to make the devil out of but God because if you had two final powers you wouldn’t have anything left.”
