“Now in the beginning does not mean a time millions of years ago or billions, it means the eternal beginning. As Susan Coolidge said, “Every day is a new beginning, every day is the world made new.” The beginning is right now, which means that pure Intelligence, pure Spirit, Divine Mind if you want to call it that, Universal Consciousness (it doesn’t matter what you call it) is at the center of every form.”
NOTE: Previously this talk was thought to have occurred in 1955 and earlier versions of this transcript reflected that date. Recent research has shown this talk occurred in 1954. This update was made in September 2025.
